The Five:14 Initiative | Helping Children in Need

Why does The Five:14 Initiative Exist?

“We believe that every child deserves dignity, respect, support, and a successful future "

Our ministry began 14 years ago when God spoke to the heart of our co-founder Brian "BK" to help disadvantaged children. Over the years, BK thought of this idea but did not consider the right time and opportunity to start The FIVE:14 Initiative. Over the years, the one thing that remained was his passion for serving and loving others. And, it was not until April 2020, during a walk, that BK remembered what God had said to him before: "help disadvantaged children." It is through prayer that BK and his wife, Brianne, obeyed God's call and vision to extend Jesus' love and hope to underserved, neglected, and exploited children. After sharing the vision with others, they were both inspired by the encouragement from friends and mentors to help others and officially started The Five: 14 Initiative

Our mission

In the process of finding how to help children in need, we found alarming statistics. Research shows that children constitute about a third of the world's population, of which:

  • 270 million go to bed hungry every day
  • 264 million are not in school
  • 261 million do not have access to basic water services
  • 100 million are homeless children
  • 10 million are victims of human trafficking
  • 1.2 million are trafficked each year
  • 424 thousand are the children in the United States who are in the foster care system

Our mission and priority is to enforce the rights of all children, regardless of where they were born, their skin color, gender, economic status, and whatever their condition may be in the long-term. We believe all the children of the world deserve to have the same rights, and that is the focus that moves us to stay with this passion for a better present and future for them.

protect our children

We do not see helping children as a trend, for us, it is a lifetime commitment because we care about their well-being and we want to extend in them the love and hope of Jesus.

Today, a team of motivated volunteers, partners and generous donors have been embarked on a mission to support and protect children in the different initiatives in which we are part, but that is not enough. We need more people like you, with generous hands and hearts to continue protecting our kids.

We are committed to providing 100% of all public donations to fund these initiatives. We invite you to learn more about our NGO to become part of the campaigns we are carrying out to change the life of millions of children.  You are a fundamental piece to bless the lives of many children in need!

With your help, we will see children reach their full potential.
